SPECIFICATIONS
Extron’s SS 200 is a 300 MHz Sync Stabilizer that accepts most sync configurations and outputs digitally restored RGBHV or RGBS simultaneously on
five BNCs and a female VGA connector. Digital display devices—such as
LCDs, DLPs, Plasma and DILAs—often have trouble with sync signals that
have been altered through previous processing. The SS 200 restores the sync
signal to its original form, so problems are prevented. Other applications for
the SS 200 include converting RsGsBs, RGsB, or RGBS to RGBHV, since
many digital displays require an RGBHV input.

The SS 200 accepts the input signal on five BNCs and automatically strips the
sync from the red, green and blue channel. The SS 200 uses Extron’s exclusive
Advanced Digital Sync Processing™ (ADSP™) to digitally restore the sync.
ADSP™ cleans up the sync and re-establishes the proper timing relationship
between the video signal and the sync signal. The SS 200 also provides three
ways to handle the serration pulses: 1) allows the serration pulses to pass
through unprocessed, 2) removes the serration pulses, and 3) restores the serration pulses to their original timing (also known as vertical correction).
FEATURES
■ Bandwidth— The SS 200 has a video bandwidth of 300 MHz (-3dB).
■ Compatible signals— The SS 200 is compatible with any analog RGB
signal with a horizontal frequency between 15-145 kHz and a vertical
frequency between 30-170 Hz. It accepts any RsGsBs, RGsB, RGBS,
or RGBHV signal and outputs digitally restored RGBHV.
■ ADSP™— Extron’s ADSP™ digitally cleans up the sync and re-establishes
the proper timing relationship between the video signal and the sync
signal.
■ Dual output design— The SS 200 outputs digitally restored RGBHV
simultaneously on five BNCs and a female VGA connector so the user can
send output to the projector no matter what type of input connector the
display uses.

image.

■ Mountable— The SS 200 includes a detachable bracket on the right
side for mounting near the projector on a projector support. Optional
brackets are also available for horizontal (under-desk) or vertical
(through-desk) mounting.
