Circuit Guard® Redesigned
Industrial GFCI Receptacle
Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems has redesigned the industrial grade GFCI receptacle product line. The GFCI receptacles are available in 15 or 20 Amp 120V AC and are ideally suited for harsh and abusive environments where
GFCI protection is required. The redesigned industrial
GFCI receptacle from Hubbell now incorporates a side
wiring feature that replaces the wire lead termination of
the old design. These devices are available in ivory, white,
brown, gray, red and Hospital Grade. Each GFCI receptacle is furnished with a stainless steel and nylon wall plate
(of the proper color). All Hubbell GFCI receptacles are listed to UL 943 Class A for GFCI’s, UL 498 for receptacles
and are CSA Certified.
GFCI receptacles are designed to protect people from the
hazards of line to ground electrical current which can be
present in electrical tools or equipment, especially when
used in damp or wet locations. If a ground fault occurs
and the leakage exceeds 4 to 6 milliamps, the receptacle
acts quickly to interrupt the power supply and limit the
duration of electrical shock.
