Roll and stick wrapping machines
The excellent machines for roll wrapping of round, tablet shaped products
and for stick wrapping of square products at high speeds of up to 250
packages per minute. The machines are primarily used in the confectionery
and pharmaceutical industries for roll and stick wrapping of round or square
products such as hard and soft comprimates, compressed tablets, dragees,
gummies and liquorice.
Technical Features
Functioning:
• Feeding of the products via a vibratory feeder adapted to the shape of
the product and equipped with an automatic discharge device for broken
pieces.
• Careful erection of the products by means of erecting plates. Collating of
the contents of a roll or stick on the infeed conveyor.
• Insert of the composed rolls or sticks together with the wrapping
material inside the rotating wrapping head.
• Wrapping and folding of the ends through rotation of the wrapping head
and by means of specifically arranged folding devices.
• Discharge of the finished rolls or sticks by means of discharge belt or
chain
