Wrap Up Discussion Questions
Teachers:
These questions were designed to wrap up the experience of the C-Section surgery. These
questions can be answered by a large group discussion with the whole class or in a smaller
setting with groups of 3-4.
1. When is having a C-Section better than giving birth naturally?
2. What kinds of safety precautions for the mother do you think the doctor keeps in mind
throughout the surgery?
3. What kinds of safety precautions for the baby do you think the doctor keeps in mind
throughout the surgery?
4. Make a list of pros and cons for having a C-Section rather than giving birth naturally.
Think of both the mother and baby and think about the recovery as well.
