Minimum Education Level
 A solid background in the use of Windows 2000 and an A+ certification, both hardware and
software, is required.
 A Microsoft Certified System Engineer certification is highly desirable.
 The computer operator requires a minimum of two (2) years of experience of debrief support.
 Must have the ability to identify malfunctioning hardware and re-rout activity or replace defective
parts as necessary to accomplish mission requirements.
 Ability to speak, read, and write English
Position Description
The Computer Operator will be the primary person responsible for operating and maintaining the
Squadron Deployable and Flight Deployable Ground Systems. This position requires either a DCID
SECRET Clearance or the ability to obtain said clearance. This position requires operator to request
information required to support operations from flying squadrons. This includes call signs, tail numbers,
aircraft configuration, simulated weapons load, operating frequency, mission area security, and other
data to prepare for each sortie. Prepare for P5 missions in conjunction with MOKKITS as applicable.
Prepare MOKKITS displays for scheduled debriefings and shall operate and support operations of
Primary ICADS display consoles as required. Upload or make available completed mission files for
aircrew replay on mobile (laptop) and/or non-primary displays within operations area/vault on noninterference basis with primary aircrew debriefings. Manage the Computer Security (COMPUSEC)
program for IT systems, providing day-to-day security administration, monitoring activities at the
facility, and ensuring compliance with higher-level security regulations and guidance as well as local
procedures. Implement all COMPUSEC directives as tasked. Comply with DIACAP requirements and
provide applicable DIACAP support.
This position requires the ability to adapt to a variety of problems requiring operator intervention. In
response to computer output instructions or error conditions, chooses or devises a course of action from
among several alternatives and alters or deviates from standard procedures if standard procedures do not
provide a solution.

Primary Responsibilities
 Ensure scheduled Ground Subsystems are fully functional
 Schedule and Perform periodic, preventive, and corrective maintenance
 Respond to notification of malfunctioning Ground Subsystems, troubleshoot and repair to restore
the Ground Subsystems to full functionality.
 Perform system installation, preparation for use and reshipment.
 Prepare Data Recording Device (DRD/DTD) as applicable
 Identify and report correction/improvement to technical data, product/material quality
deficiencies, and supply discrepancies
 Conduct inventories and maintain accountability records for Ground Subsystems,
 Comply with inspection requirements and implement approved configuration changes
 Conduct Ground Subsystem training, including ancillary and support equipment;
maintain/update training documentation as required
 Perform equipment status reporting, as well as maintenance data collection/job documentation
 Ensure debriefing forms are received from each squadron and analyzed
 Assist with Pod loading as needed
