Potential lifesaving drug?
Or a blind alley?
That’s what you need to find out
during pharmacogenetic studies.
Relying on the VeraCode ADME
Core Panel and the BeadXpress®
Reader will help you assess the
genetics behind drug absorption,
distribution, metabolism, and
excretion (ADME). Investigating
associations to drug response,
dosing, and safety.
Helping you introduce drugs
to market sooner. Bringing
personalized medicine closer
to reality.
Quickly. Efficiently. Precisely.
Quality counts.
Not only does the VeraCode ADME Core Panel provide more
than 95% of key ADME Core content, it also delivers the highest
quality data. More than 99.5% concordance. More than
99.5% reproducibility.
Plus, Illumina assay chemistry precisely targets critical ADME
content, addressing homologous regions. The information you get
will be more precise. The decisions you make more informed.

The essential genes that populate the VeraCode ADME Core Panel
include several with well-known associations to model drugs. For
example, CYP2D6 has been associated with the metabolism of certain
antidepressants, antipsychotics, cancer drugs like Tamoxifen and many
others, CYP2C19 has been associated with the metabolism of the
anti-platelet Plavix, and CYP2C9 and VKORC1 are most well known
for their association to warfarin sensitivity.

Speed matters.
One day. Why wait longer when you can analyze key ADME
content in under 8 hours? The simple workflow, with builtin sample tracking and internal controls, accelerates your
studies. The easy-to-use software interface manages a
run from setup through data analysis and translation.
It even provides useful reports.

Simple workflow.
An initial extension with biotinylated primers specifically
targets regions of interest. Products are captured onto
paramagnetic particles for allele-specific primer extension
and ligation followed by universal PCR. A single plate
transfer hybridizes amplified material to VeraCode Beads for
scanning on the BeadXpress Reader. Thirty-four genes are
assayed within 8 hours with less than 2.5 hours of technical
hands-on time. Quickly. Efficiently. Precisely.
