PRODUCT INFORMATION
NEMA 12 and IP 55 Rated Environmental Protection for Non-Hazardous Indoor Locations
Chatsworth Products (CPI) RMR Swing-Out Wall-Mount Enclosure provides exceptional protection for network, communication, automation and control equipment in
non-hazardous indoor locations. The RMR Swing-Out Wall-Mount Enclosure features welded steel panels with robotic, formed-in-place foam gaskets and optional sealed cable
entry points. These features effectively maintain the enclosure’s NEMA 12 and IP 55 environmental ratings, which certify that equipment is protected from the intrusion of solid
foreign objects such as dirt, dust, lint and fibers, as well as non-corrosive liquid ingresses such as light dripping and splashing. The RMR Swing-Out Wall-Mount Enclosure
features a solid or windowed front door equipped with a CH751 key-latch for security purposes. In addition, the robust design of the RMR Swing-Out Wall-Mount Enclosure
protects personnel from hazardous moving parts and electrical charges within the enclosure.
While the standard Wall-Mount Enclosure is a completely sealed, solid enclosure, it features many modification possibilities, which are available with short lead times. Many
filtered fan options are available to meet ventilation requirements, and multiple cable entry points and accessories are available for configuration with very little lead time.
Accessible Three-Part Design
The RMR Swing-Out Wall-Mount Enclosure features a three-part design, with a solid rear section, hinged center section and a solid or windowed front door, equipped with a
CH751 key-latch for security purposes. The enclosure’s center section enables the front portion to release, swinging away from the wall section to provide front and rear access
to interior equipment. This allows for quick installation and maintenance, which limits the amount of time that sensitive equipment is exposed to the environment. As a security
measure, the center section of the RMR Swing-Out Wall-Mount Enclosure is only accessible when the front door is unlatched to prevent unauthorized access.
Expanded Equipment Support
All RMR Enclosures feature configurations that include 19” EIA rails or mounting panels. These options ensure compatibility with a number of electronic installations that
extend beyond communications and network devices to include automation and control equipment. Attachment points are punched around the interior perimeter of the frame,
providing top-to-bottom, front-to-back and side-to-side mounting locations for accessories. Additional mounting solutions are available upon request.
Enhanced Cable Management Options
The RMR Swing-Out Wall-Mount Enclosure provides environmental protection, while enabling data center industry best practices for cable support and management. The
RMR Swing-Out Wall-Mount Enclosure features NEMA 12 and IP 55 rated cable entry options that include gland plates on each of the top and bottom panels. These entry
points allow for optimal cable fill values that do not interfere with environmental ratings. Additional cable entry points are available upon request.
Many of CPI’s top-rated accessories such as Finger Cable Mangers, Ring Cable Managers and Cable Lashing Brackets are available for the RMR Swing-Out Wall-Mount
Enclosure. In addition, a Front-to-Rear Cable Lashing Bracket has been developed for use with the RMR Swing-Out Wall-Mount Enclosure. This new accessory attaches to the
frame and aligns with each U space to provide a dedicated front-to rear-pathway, and prevents high volume cabling from dropping into the U space below.
Quality Airflow with Enhanced Environmental Protection
While the standard Swing-Out Wall-Mount Enclosure is a completely sealed enclosure for NEMA 12 and IP 55 ratings, CPI can modify the enclosure with openings for Filtered
Fan Kits. These fan kits mount to the enclosure’s side panels, doors and top panel and are available in a range of airflow specifications and voltages. In addition, Active Cooling
Options are available to meet a range of heat loads from to 900-1300 Btu/h (263-380 W).

Short Finger Brackets
Short Finger Brackets attach alongside the equipment
mounting rails to organize patch cords at each U space.
• Plastic T-shaped fingers with openings that align with
U space
• May be installed on either side of the equipment rails

Ring Cable Manager
Ring Cable Manager organizes loose patch cords along
the sides of the enclosure.
• Plastic C-shaped rings have openings at front that
support the easy addition and removal of patch and
jumper cords
• May be installed on either side of the enclosure frame
• Includes: Bracket, rings and installation hardware
• Material: Steel bracket, plastic rings
Mounting Brackets
Easy-to-use mounting brackets attach to the wall,
allowing the enclosure to hook on and remain securely in
place during the installation process. Brackets then act as
an extra wall anchor once the enclosure is installed.
Interior Light
Interior Light aids technicians and personnel in
installations, maintenance and other field
activity. • Attaches to the bottom, top or side of enclosures
• Fluorescent light with on/off switch
Cable Lashing Bracket
Cable Lashing Bracket secures multiple cable bundles
along the side of the enclosure.
• Attachment points along both sides of the cabinet
• An array of slots compatible with zip-ties or Saf-T-Grip
Cable Management Straps
• May be installed in front of or behind the equipment
mounting rails or on either side of the cabinet frame
• Includes: Bracket and installation hardware (Order
Saf-T-Grips or cable ties separately)
Front-to-Rear Cable Manager
Front-to-Rear Cable Lashing Bracket routes high volumes
of cables from front-to-rear of the cabinet, preventing
cabling from invading the U space below the cable run.

rear pathway

Horizontal eConnect® PDUs
Horizontal eConnect® Power Distribution Units (PDUs) are
intelligent power distribution devices with control and
monitoring capabilities. Horizontal eConnect PDUs feature
dimensions that are scaled to deliver intelligent power
distribution to smaller, space-limited enclosures.
• Compatible with 19” EIA racks

VENTILATION OPTIONS
Filtered Fan Kits
Filtered Fan Kits draw air into the enclosure, pressurizing
the cabinet and forcing warm air out of the side vents.
Use of the filter also reduces the occurrence of dust and
contamination within the enclosure.
• Square-shaped, 5”x 5” (125 mm x 125 mm) intake fan
with filter, rated at 38 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM),

Active Cooling Unit
Side-mounted air conditioner to cool equipment within
the enclosure. Able to perform efficiently in high
temperature areas. Uses environmentally-friendly
HFC-free R134a refrigerant and a hermetically sealed
compressor to prevent refrigerant loss. Includes a
backward curve impeller fan to optimizes airflow and
extends service life. Wide condenser fin spacing reduces
particulate clogging while balancing performance and
condenser coils are coated with corrosion protection
to extend service life. Also, actively evaporates
condensation to remove moisture.
