FLHR (ROAD KING) HEADLAMP VISOR MOUNTING KIT
General
3.
This kit is designed to install a headlamp visor (a separate
kit purchase) on 1994 and later Road King model
motorcycles equipped with a 7 inch headlamp.
See Figures 2 and 3. Place a spring clip (1) inside of
trim ring, on each side of the stock clip, equally spaced
as shown.

Installation
1.
See Figure 1. Attach the headlamp visor mounting pad
(1) to the underside of the headlamp visor within
approximately 1/16 of an inch of visor lip.

Place visor lip between bottom of trim ring and spring
clips. Center the visor to the stock clip at top of trim ring.
NOTE
Your vehicle is already equipped with a headlamp door (trim
ring).
5.
While holding visor in trim ring, push the trim ring back
on headlamp.
6.
Reattach trim ring to headlamp frame with screw
removed in step 2.
7.
If necessary, re-aim headlamp. Refer to the appropriate
Service Manual for detailed procedures.
2.
Remove headlamp door (trim ring ) by removing screw
at bottom of headlamp. Do not discard screw.
