Lamar University, Texas USA for lectures and collaborative

for presenting his research paper in International
conference in 2008 and for a series of guest lectures. He was
a Group Study Exchange Programme team member of
Rotary International to Ohio, United States of America in
2006.
He has to his credit 7 patents registered in water resources
and environment & energy engineering fields. He has 37
research papers published in International and National
journals and conferences . He is a recognized supervisor for
Ph.D. in Nagpur University. 3 Ph. D.s in Civil Engineering
have been awarded under his guidance, 2 have been
submitted and 3 are in progress. He is a Life Member of
Indian Society for Technical Education, Indian Concrete
Institute, Institute of Civil Engineers (India) and Fellow of
Indian Water Works Association.

and operation of machinery. Mechanical engineers

systems, transport systems, aircraft, robotics, etc.
Mechanical Engineering diversifies into production,
design, thermal engineering, industrial engineering,
metallurgy, automobile, aerospace, biomedical
engineering etc. In the era of globalization various
automated manufacturing industries are set up
which require mechanical engineers for designing,
production, quality control, maintenance, etc.
Electronics Engineers design electronic circuits,
devices, microprocessors, microcontrollers,
semiconductor devices especially transistors, diode
and integrated circuits. Electronics communication
engineering is the utilization of science and math
applied to practical problems in the field of
communication.
It deals in research, design, development and testing
of the electronic equipments used in various
communication systems. It involves design of
equipments such as routers, switches, multiplexers,
electronic switching systems, fiber optics, printed
circuit boards which can be used in computers, MP3
players, cell phones, television, etc. Due to boom in

Mechatronics Engineering may be regarded as a
modern approach to automation techniques. It is an
interdisciplinary field of science and technology dealing
with general problems of mechanical, electronics,
computer science and informatics. The aim of
Mechatronics is to improve functionality of technical
systems and the creation of new concepts of machinery
and equipments with built in artificial intelligence.
The study of mechatronics systems include machine
components, motion generators, power producing
machines to more complex devices such as robotics
systems and transportation devices. Because of large
scale automation equipments are coming up
nowadays, such industries are increasing in number
which will provide great employment opportunities.
 For all the B.Tech courses minimum eligibility
criteria is that the candidate should be 12th pass
with 45% in PCM or PM & vocational subject like CS,
Electronic, Electrical, Maintenance, Mechanical,
Building, Technology for open category & 40 % for
category student.
 For all the M.Tech courses minimum eligibility
criteria is that the candidate should be Engineering
graduate with 50% for open & 45% for category.

 All Polytechnic courses are of 3 years with intake
capacity of 6o students in each discipline.
 All Under Graduate courses of Engineering stream is

The G H Raisoni University has come up with
Agriculture Science Department which renders
services to the farmers through Education, Research
and Extension Education.
India is mainly an agricultural country. Agriculture is
the most important occupation for most of the Indian
families. In India, agriculture contributes about
sixteen percent (16%) of total GDP and ten percent
(10%) of total exports. Over 60 % of India's land area is
arable making it the second largest country in terms
of total arable land. An agricultural product of
significant economic value includes rice, wheat,
potato, tomato, onion, mangoes, sugar-cane, beans,
cotton, etc.
The University has over a total 20 acres of cultivable
land under its possession for Conducting Various
Research, field trials in addition to seed multiplication
programme. This University covers the need of a wide
range of climatic zones varying from Wet Humid Rice
zone of East gradually ending with Arid Cotton and
Millet Zone of west.
The students learn the most modern methods used
for farming and find ways to modernize the
agricultural sector.
The faculty is committed to provide academic
excellence and maintaining interdisciplinary
approaches in its Agriculture Science program. Our
curriculum is very broad and designed keeping in view

Admission to all the courses is as per the provision of Madhya Pradesh government rules. Details

Ethics and Code of Conduct
The University has prepared the Ethics and code of
conduct for students and faculty members including
professional ethics & social responsibilities.
Discipline (Conduct Rules)
It is imperative that the students strictly adhere to the
day of opening and closing of each term during the
academic year.

Sciences.
2. To have further Advancement of Learning and
Research in Agriculture and Allied Sciences.
3. To integrate and Co-ordinate the teaching of the
subjects in the different faculties of the University.
4. To Co-ordinate the Education, Research and
Extension Education Activities for Augmentation
of Agricultural Production.
5. To provide integrated Agricultural Education
Activities at all levels for maximum effectiveness
and at a minimum cost.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission
 The basic eligibility criteria for admission in Diploma
in Agriculture Science is 10th or equivalent .
 The basic eligibility criteria for B.Sc Agriculture
Science is 10+2 or equivalent with science subjects.
 The basic eligibility criteria for M.Sc Agriculture
Science is Bachelor's Degree in B.Sc. Agriculture or
similar relevant courses is required.

The following acts or omissions will constitute
misconduct.
i.
Physical assault or threat to use physical force,
against any member of the teaching and nonteaching staff of institute/department and
against any student within the institute.
ii.
Carrying of, use of or threat to use any weapons.
iii. Violation of the status, dignity and honour of a
student belonging to the scheduled castes and
scheduled tribe.
a. The student should note that he / she is responsible
to the authorities of the University not only for his /
her conduct in the premises of the University but
also for his / her conduct in general, outside the
premises as well.
v.
b. If reported, observed objectionable conduct within
or outside the premises of the University /Institute
and hostel, will make him / her liable for strict
disciplinary action.
vi. Willfully disrupting any teaching, study,
assessment or research activities or the
administration of the institute.
c. If students found guilty of Ragging, he / she will
liable for punishment according to clause 9.1 of the
regulations, as per the High Court decision for
University Act 1956-Regulation 26(1) G-2009.
d. The student should not participate in any political
or antisocial activities.
e. Student should help in maintaining the buildings
and the campus of the University clean and tidy.
f. If a student remains absent from their respective
college for continuous period of ten days without
prior permission of the HOD/Director, the
University reserves the right to cancel his
admission from the Institute and to strike out his /
her name from the roll. Such a student will not be
entitled for any refund.
iv. Any practice, whether verbal or otherwise,
derogatory to women.
Creating ill-will or in tolerance on religious or
communal ground.
vii. Willfully obstructing officer or employee of the
institute in the performance of his or her duties.
viii. Willfully damaging or wrongfully dealing with any
property under the control of the institute, any
property on institute premises, or property on
allocation where a student is present under the
auspices of the institute.
ix. Disobeying or failing, without reasonable cause,
to observe any provision of the bye- laws, or any
rule made by the Council / Board or of any
resolution of the council / board of which
students have been duly notified.
x.
Disobeying, without reasonable cause, any
instruction of an officer or employee of the
institute, including failing to leave any building or
part of a building when directed to do so.
xi. With holding relevant information or furnishing
false or misleading information for purposes
connected with academic progression or
enrolment or proposed enrolment as a student,
whether such withholding or furnishing of
information takes place before or after the
person becomes a student of the institute.
xii. Contravening any rule made by the council/board
in relation to the conduct of written assessment;
xiii. Acting dishonestly or unfairly with respect to: The
preparation or presentation of any essay, project,
thesis or other work to be assessed or any
examination conducted by the institute.
xiv. Indulging in Cyber Crime.
