INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
8" Never Flat Casters on Lodgix Cart
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE (See Figure 1)
1. Place the base support on both sides of base, matching the hole locations with holes in the cart.
2. Insert carriage bolts (supplied in hardware bag#8) into the square holes of caster channel.
3. Install the casters onto the caster channel, placing the (2) larger holes facing inward and over the
carriage bolts.
NOTE: Two rigid casters must be installed on same end of the unit.
4. Using the hex nuts, split lock washers (supplied in hardware bag#1) and large flat washers
(supplied in hardware bag#8). Secure casters to channel.
5. Place caster channel with casters on base support.
NOTE: Make sure that caster channel outside holes align with outside holes of base, casters, channel.
6. From inside cart, insert 3" long screws (supplied in hardware bag#1) up thru the base, base
support, casters channel. Assemble with small flat washer, split lock washers and hex nuts
(supplied in hardware bag#1).
7. Using 2 1/2" long screws, small flat washers and split lock washers; insert screws thru caster,
channel, base support and base. Tighten into post.
8. Repeat for other caster channel.
9. Make sure all fasteners are tightened before placing the cart in use.
