Description
The BUPNP series of indoor/outdoor enclosures accommodates a variety of protected
or unprotected telco termination and demarcation blocks. Available in three sizes, the
BUPNP enclosures are manufactured of heavy gauge mill-galvanized steel, treated with a
unique finishing process for longer life.
All units feature hinged, gasketed doors. A 216-type can wrench (Emerson catalog
no. 15 or 38) is required in order to open the units, and, for further security, each unit is
also equipped with a padlock hasp.
A 0.5-in. (1.27 cm) thick plywood mounting board is installed and rubber service wire
grommets are provided in each enclosure. The BUPNP1 and BUPNP2 also feature a unique
slide-on cable retainer. For maximum flexibility, there are various knockouts for cables on
the right side and back of each unit.
Application
BUPNP enclosures organize and maintain many configurations of wire or cable terminal
blocks. The BUPNP series can provide an excellent demarcation point in network
interface applications.
Typical blocks used in the BUPNP series enclosures are URLS, I3Series, RGIS, 123 Series,
128 Series, R356 Series, 391 Series, 393 Series, RPT Series, RGT Series and W1 Series.
Other demarcation blocks may also be used.
