Rights Respecting Robert and his adventures… Pictured: Some of our Primary 1 pupils. We have been so lucky that Mrs Mac from our school office has brought RR Robert, our rights mascot, to life by creating wonderful teddies! The mascots will be used between our nursery and P1 classes. Earlier in the year our school Literacy Committee worked with the Rights Steering Group to organise a homework task where pupils would create different adventures for RR Robert. The contributions have been turned in to an exciting book full of different stories and pictures of Robert in different locations. The RR reporters visit each class regularly and collect information on the work they have been undertaking this term connected with our rights, each class is able to share all the exciting work they undertake. Primary 1 came out on top! They had a great knowledge of our monthly right and how it affects them. Well done to Primary 1! ’S math a sinn sibh!
