Drafting Coordinator
Applications are sought from persons interested in the position of Drafting Coordinator
working in the Asset Performance department at Loy Yang B Power Station.
Under the direction of the Engineering Team Leader, the Drafting Coordinator is
responsible for the central management, accuracy and maintenance of the Loy Yang
B drafting system and providing guidance and instruction to station personnel
pertaining to the quality management of this system. Additionally, you will be
responsible for the maintenance and update of plant databases and manuals such
as valve database, cable database and plant manuals.
You will be familiar with relevant Australian Standards and have knowledge of
drawing systems and standards required to maintain drawings as they relate to
power plant, including number systems, change processes and system control.
Strong project management skills including budgeting, estimating, planning, scheduling
and financial control together with high level communication skills are required.
To be successful, you will possess a Certificate of Technology/Associate Diploma in
Design Drafting or equivalent training and experience.
Demonstrated experience within power generation or heavy industry in the drafting
field is preferred.
