Shout Outs
 So far this year, LHS freshmen have the highest attendance rate of all regular high schools in
the district! Way to go Class of 2020!!!!!
 On Friday night vs. Brooks High, the Generals Football team came from behind to tie the
game with only 7 seconds left and won the game in overtime. One online commentator
wrote: "It isn’t over till it's over unless you quit...then it's over, before it's done.” Way to go
Generals for hanging in there and pushing hard until the end! #HardWorkPaysOff
Announcements
 Tuesday and Wednesday will be PICTURE DAY! You will be taken to the lecture hall to get
your yearbook picture taken during your core Social Studies class.
 There are several upcoming college visit trips! Check out the wall down from the counselors
offices for more info and permission slips. First trip is Saturday, September 24 to Middle
Tennessee State University (MTSU) and the University of North Alabama (UNA).
 If you checked out a Summer Reading book from the Library, those are due back now.
