1. In the upper-right corner of your screen, click the Airport icon and select “Nau-Secure.” You may
have to wait for the networks to load.
2. A Windows will open requiring a user name and password. In the “User Name” field, enter
“Nau\ user ID” if you are Faculty, Staff or a Student Worker. If you are a Student, enter in “NAUStudents\your student ID” For example, if your NAU User ID or student ID is “abc12” you would
input this as “abc12” (without quotations). In the “Password” field, enter your NAU User ID or
Student ID password. Make sure that the drop down menu labeled “802.1X” is set to
“Automatic” and select “Join.”
3. If this is your first time adding NAU-Secure to your wireless device, you will be prompted to
accept the Certificate. Click “Continue”
You should now be successfully connected to the network
