Study the map extract of Newcastle (South Africa) and answer the following
questions. The scale of the map is 1 : 50 000.
(a) (i) State the compass direction of the Fort Metcalf monument in the north-west
of the map from the trigonometric station 273 in the north-east corner of the
map.
