Finding the Calibration Factors For Multi-Product Registers

Remove the front calibration plate (Item 1) from the front of the register,

Now move switch # 6 from its current setting (“REMEMBER WHERE IT WAS”) to position # 9. Then reset the register by moving the toggle switch (#7) to the full right position. This is a spring loaded reset, the toggle switch will return to the centre compensated or “NET” position.

WARNING: NEVER MOVE SWITCH #7 (COMPENSATOR) TO THE LEFT OR GROSS POSITION,

YOU RISK A CALIBRATION OVERWRITE, AND YOUR TRUCK MAY HAVE TO BE RE-INSPECTED

IF YOU DO NOT KNOW YOUR CALIBRATION FACTORS !

The register will now display the calibration factor for the product that appears on the MID:COM 8000 cab mounted computer on line 2 of the display. Record the product and calibration factor below.
