Characteristics and resistance:
RELEST® Marine AF Longlife is a tin-free antifouling paint with self-polishing effect which improves the product’s
resistance and long-time effect on marine organisms.
The special binder composition is based on high quality technology which ensures long-term efficiency of the
antifouling paint.

Substrate preparation:
General:
The surface preparation is decisive for the durability of all coating systems. Surfaces must be solid, clean, free of
grease, wax, silicone, rust and dust and must be provided with a sound and suitable anticorrosive priming coat of
sufficient film thickness. Remove non-solid old coatings in poor condition. Clean, sand and remove dust from
solid old coatings in good condition and check their compatibility.

It is absolutely necessary to provide for dry spraying air by means of an efficient water separator. The quantity of
thinner depends on the required film thickness. Stir the material occasionally in order to avoid sediments.

Higher temperatures and higher air movement or exchange may accelerate the drying process, lower
temperatures or higher film thicknesses slow down the drying process.
Storage/Transport conditions:
The material is storable for approx. 24 months from date of manufacture in firmly closed original containers.
Please observe the information on the container label. Seal open containers airtight and use up soon.
Protect from frost, heat and humidity.
