Kichler® Debuts 2016 Landscape Lighting Options
- Includes a variety of products with enhanced style, performance and functionality INDEPENDENCE, OHIO (October 21, 2015) – Kichler,® a leader in innovative lighting, is launching new
products to amplify residential and light commercial landscape settings with increased design and
functional capabilities. The 2016 line consists of a wide breadth of durable fixtures including accent, path
and deck lights, bollards and transformers designed to add an element of security to homes along with a
high level of panache that homeowners can appreciate. In addition to the products’ design appeal, they
also withstand elements efficiently, all year round.

LED Drop-In Lamp Extensions
The MR16 LED Drop-in Lamp Enhancement has been re-engineered with improved light
output and unmatched color consistency for 12V systems. The new LED lamp can be
easily installed and is ideal for those transitioning from existing incandescent systems.
The MR16 is encapsulated to protect from moisture and has two color temperature
options of either 2700K (warm white) or 3000K (pure white). The quality consistent light
output is a key feature of the MR16 and beam spreads include 15, 25, 40 or 60 degrees.
The new LED Side Mount Lamp was made for side applications such as deck
and path lights and wall washes. This new addition boasts many technological benefits
including a directional lamp that can be used with a variety of fixtures. The Side Mount
Drop-In Lamp has three different bases including a T5 wedge, T3 bi-pin, S8 wedge and
two color temperature options of 2700K or 3000K.
Path Lights
The LED Path Light Module is the go-to option for illuminating pathways and walkways.
Customers can choose between six new path lights in traditional and contemporary
designs featuring slimmer profiles, contemporary looks, patterned shades and two-toned
finishes. The light’s moisture-proof design ensures protection in wet weather with
enhanced performance and an even distribution of light. In addition, the updated module is
being retrofitted into existing wall wash and path light designs.
Deck Lights
Deck lights are the perfect product to accentuate not only deck details, but to add well-lit
security to patios, outdoor kitchens, steps and handrails. The new LED deck light module
has four new architectural designs. The module is being retrofitted into current step
and deck lights and features a diffused lens with even light distribution to cut glare. Color
options are 2700K or 3000K.
Bollards
The new 12V Bollards feature omni-directional LEDs which utilize a remote phosphor
technology. Four new designs are being unveiled for 2016 consisting of both traditional
and contemporary styles. The new Bollards have a cast aluminum housing with
weathered white glass and new finishes include Architectural Bronze and Textured Black.
The color temperature for the new Bollards is 2800K which satisfies customers who
desire the warmth of a 2700K and the pure white color of a 3000K.
In-Ground Transformer
The In-Ground Transformer is ideal for those who seek a more discrete option than the
traditional transformer. It has three wattage options including 100, 300 and 600. The
product was created for concrete, gravel and dirt installations, and it’s durable black
material helps hold up ground shifts. The In-Ground Transformer features multiple ports for
easy installation and wire routing, and can be controlled with a remote photocell or a timer.
Centennial Brass
The Centennial Brass Family and Finish Extension has a classic, brushed antique look,
with many of the line’s products were redesigned to be used with Kichler LED replacement
lamps. Seven new products are being unveiled within the family including an accent light,
wall wash, two path lights, in-ground light, rock ground and a deck light.
