Limited 25-Year Warranty
MOULDING, TRIM AND TRIMBOARD PRODUCTS
The Warranty stated herein is to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
The Manufacturer warrants, subject to the Limitations disclosed below, that Royal Building Products®
moulding, trim and trim board products (excluding garage door stop) purchased from an authorized dealer
of Royal Building Products will be free of manufacturing defects that may cause the product to swell due
to excessive moisture, corrode, or delaminate for a period of twenty-five (25) years from the date of the
original purchase. These named products have a Lifetime Warranty against rot (rot is defined as organic
decomposition or decay).
Any claim must be filed within 30 days of discovery of a failure, and prior to making any repairs or modifications to the installation. The claim should include a detailed description of the claimed failure, evidence
such as detailed photographs, and the date and proof of purchase of the product. All claim requests

The Manufacturer shall have the opportunity, within a reasonable period of time of the notification (not
less than 30 days), to inspect the installation and determine the nature of the failure.
The Manufacturer’s liability under this Warranty applies to the replacement of defective Royal Building
Products components only. If the claim is determined to be in accordance with the terms of this Limited
Warranty, the Manufacturer will repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of the material. If conditions
as described in the Limitations section of this Warranty are found to exist, the Manufacturer will notify the
owner of such conditions. In this event, Royal Building Products will cooperate with the owner and supply,
for purchase, material to allow the owner/installer to maintain the beauty and aesthetics of the original
installation.
LIMITATIONS
This Warranty shall become void if material is subject to: 1) Improper handling, transportation, storage or
maintenance prior to, or during installation, 2) Improper installation or failure to install in accordance with
the Manufacturer’s recommendations, including the selection and use of proper tools, fasteners, screws
and other miscellaneous items, 3) Improper, or inadequate maintenance, neglect or misuse of the of the
product, 4) Uses other than the intended use of the product, 5) Improperly designed or built supporting
structures, or movement, shifting, settling, distortion or collapse of the supporting structure or supporting
ground, 6) Damage caused by external events such as earthquakes, tornados, floods, hurricanes, lightning,
fire, excessive heat, or impact from foreign objects, 7) Exposure to pollution, acid rain, application of solvents, acids, bases, abrasives, harsh cleansers or other substances not recommended by the manufacturer,
8) Physical abuse, vandalism, riot, insurrection, use of incompatible accessories, 9) Ordinary and expected
weathering due to exposure to the elements; which for purposes of this Warranty is defined to be chalking,
fading, or darkening of the surface of the Product due to exposure to natural sunlight or ultraviolet light
and extremes of atmospheric conditions that are unique to and may vary in each geographic location. This
Warranty does not cover painted finishes or coating applied to the Product by the original purchaser or any
third party. Failure to adhere to Manufacturer’s recommended guidelines for application of painted surfaces
may void this Warranty.

In the event of a failure, Royal Building Products will repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of the
defective material. Royal Building Products will not be liable for removal, installation or re-installation,
labor, costs of supplies such as glue, screws, clips, fasteners or other hardware, or consequential, exemplary or punitive damages of any kind. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental
or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Replaced or repaired
materials shall be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. No other warranties, implied
or inferred shall apply.
By acceptance and use of this product, purchaser agrees that the Manufacturer’s liability, and purchaser’s
remedies for any alleged breach of warranty, shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the product or
refund, as provided above. The Manufacturer reserves the right to discontinue or change any of its products, including colors. In the event of such discontinuance or change, the Manufacturer reserves the right
at its sole discretion to substitute a product that is of equal quality or price.
THE WARRANTY STATEMENTS CONTAINED IN THIS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY SET FORTH THE
ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTIES EXTENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER.
IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND THE PROVISIONS OF THIS WARRANTY SHALL
CONSTITUTE THE ENTIRE LIABLITY OF THE MANUFACTURER AND YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR
BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. THE MANUFACTURER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO THE PROPERTY OWNER
FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above
limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights and
you may also have other rights that vary from State to State. No representative of Royal Building Products
or its distributor or dealers is authorized to make any change or modification to this warranty.
