Overview of Solar Power Generation
Measure
The WT500 provides highly precise measurements of
power conversion efficiency in the photovoltaic generation
system that has became a focus of world attention as new
energy.
One unit of the WT500 concurrently measures direct
current signals from the photovoltaic generation and
converted alternating current signals.
The WT500 measures the electric power conversion
efficiency of the power conditioner including the converter
and the inverter with a high accuracy.
High currents up to 40A and high voltage up to 1000V can
be measured.
Both numeric and voltage and current input/output signals
are displayed on the color TFT liquid crystal monitor.
Measurement values can be saved to an internally or an
external memory device, making graph and report creation
easily with PC software.

To prevent global warming, the photovoltaic
generation is heralded as one of the new
energy substitutes for fossil fuels.
Thermoelectric generation with limited
resources such as crude oil and coal emits
CO2, causing global warming and adversely
impacting the environment.
Solar power generation, on the other hand,
does not require fossil fuels or other natural
resources and does not emit CO2. This clean,
new energy will likely be an important source
of energy in the future.
The WT500 Power Analyzer can concurrently
measure direct current and alternating current
signals with extreme precision making it the
perfect tool for assessing voltage, current and
power conversion efficiency in expanding
photovoltaic generation

Effects or Remarks
The efficiency change of energy generated with the
solar cell module can be verified. See the energy
consumption reduction effect at a glance.
Power and efficiency change can be displayed on a
trend graphs so that fluctuations can be discerned,
which in turn allows for improvements to achieve
energy-saving effects.
The old model could only verify 3 numerical values at
any given time so data could not be efficiently
confirmed. With the liquid crystal color monitor of the
WT500 Power Analyzer, input and output voltage,
current, power and frequency can be verified
simultaneously, helping to shorten development for
energy-saving equipment.
