Sealed Lead Acid Batteries represent the latest in
advanced technology in deep‐cycle, maintenance‐free,
valve regulated lead acid batteries. They provide
superior performance and cycle life to conventional
gelled electrolyte batteries in deep cycle and solar
power applications.
Features
 Absorbed glass matte AGM technology with liquid
(not gelled) electrolyte immobilized in a polyethylene
envelope around the grids
 A completely sealed design that operates in any
position, never needs water, is vibration‐tolerant and
spill proof
 Unrestricted for air/UPS shipment
 Very heavy duty intercellular welds and thick positive
plates giving deep cycle capability, long service life,
low self discharge rate, freezing tolerance and
extended partial state of charge operation


 Does not force the aids to navigation engineer to
disconnect the light early for fear of damaging a
battery

 By design, these batteries produce less than 2%
hydrogen gas during a severe overcharge (4.1% is
required for flammability in air)


 Rated for 350 total discharges before failure and
does not require a low voltage disconnect on its
charge control system
 Self Discharge: Approx. 1% per month
