Chabad @ the Beaches is proud to present a NEW AGE International Kosher Food Festival on
Sunday, September 11, 2016, at 12:00PM - 3:00PM, including a 9/11 Memorial Ceremony (to be
held 12:00PM - 12:30PM), to take place at Cultural Center of Ponte Vedra Beach located at: 50
Executive Way, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082. All are welcome!
We are particularly excited about this year's Kosher food festival, the first of its kind, featuring
gourmet & healthy international cuisine and traditional favorites, a 9/11 memorial, activities for
kids and adults, and much more, including the culinary inspirations of Chef Masha, born in
Colombia, South America, and Executive Chef & Owner of FuegoMundo Restaurant in Atlanta,
Georgia. FuegoMundo has been a local Atlanta favorite for 7 years, and specializes in LatinFusion cuisine from the countries of South America, Central America, the Caribbean and Spain.
It’s the only restaurant of its kind in the world with Latin-Healthy-Gourmet & Certified Kosher
cuisine that appeals to both meat-lovers and vegetarians and consumers with food sensitivities.
Chef Masha injects love and passion into her “from-scratch kitchen,” with the most flavorful and
healthy local ingredients possible, to create delicious trendy new creations and traditional
favorites, with many gluten-free, dairy-free, grass fed beef, organic, Latin, Mediterranean, veganfriendly & kid-friendly options. Chef Masha is planning to open a new concept in the Jacksonville
/ Ponte Vedra Beach area in the coming year.
This will be Chabad @ the Beaches’ Fourth Kosher food festival and will feature international
cuisine from 8 select countries including many meat, chicken, fish & vegan dishes from
Argentina, Morocco, Spain, Germany, Japan, Colombia, Israel and New York (USA). Food
samples & ToGo meals will be available for purchase, along with local raw honey & apple
tastings, holiday meals & catering options for the upcoming Rosh Hashanah Jewish holidays,
highlights of the many health & spiritual benefits of a Kosher diet, live entertainment, and much
more.
A special 9/11 Memorial Wall and Ceremony is planned at the start of the festival, with local
firefighters, policemen, the Mayor and other local officials in attendance, as a way to remember
our heroes and family members that lost their lives on 9/11, and as a testament to the freedoms
and diversity that we value and protect in America, along with our passion and prayers for world
peace. In honor of our heroes and as a way to celebrate this day with culture & diversity the
Festival has chosen an international theme. The Memorial Ceremony will place from 12:00PM 12:30PM.
Tickets for the festival can be purchased in advance or at the door for $3.00/person. A FREE
admission ticket will be offered for every 2 tickets purchased IN ADVANCE:
www.KosherFoodFest.com. The event will offer RAFFLE prizes as well as many surprises and
entertainment, that can also be purchased in advance or at the door. This event is not to be
missed!
