Additional course information • Weekly progress testing: a classroom test to assess how much you have learnt and establish areas you may need to work on. • Independent learning plans: a tailor-made plan to help you make the most of your time outside the classroom and use our facilities effectively (this is available upon request). • Individual tutorials every month: a one-to-one meeting with your teacher to discuss your development, review your goals or focus on a specific area of study. • Online resources: a wide range of learning materials and resources that you can use from the moment you book to up to six months after you complete your course with us. • Extra sessions and contact time: a balanced variety of free teacher-led activities such as book clubs, conversation groups, seminars and themed social events. You will have to register for these activities at reception as places may be limited. • The figures shown in our prices refer to the hours of classroom tuition provided per week. In the case of IELTS 15, the number of tuition hours is 15 hours. • 90% attendance is required on all courses at all schools and a certificate will only be issued if this is fulfilled. Family packages We are delighted to welcome families in the summer season. Parents can study on our adult programmes, and children up to 17 years’ old can study on our Young Learner programmes. Additionally, our Edinburgh school is happy to welcome children from the age of 5 years’ old to take part in activity camps on a half or full-day basis. The activity camp is open to British nationals and children from abroad. 7
