REMARK
The “intelligent” Electric Drive Italia recharging stations are able to recognize the
type of car that is connected. This means that the BOMTS platform is able to give
adequate inputs with respect to the recharging times effectively needed or controls
the recharging power in consideration of the technical characteristics of the
connected E-car, thus lowering or increasing the kWh ratio to be supplied.
All operational data are transferred to the operation center in order to supply
the required services (e.g. accounting, billing, reservation, etc)

REMARK
The intelligent wall box by Electric Drive Italia, using three phases feeding, are able to reckognize the type of car
that is connected.
This means that for business plan optimization issue, the BOMTS platform gives inputs regarding recharging
times (i.e. kWh to be supplied) in consideration of effective use of the car, or adequates the recharging speed
according to effective technical characteristics of the cars, while sending all technical and accounting data to
Electric Drive Italia main operation center and control room.

There are basically no. 3 business models that can be applied:
1)“Key Account” Services, e.g.: Hotel & Resorts, Universities, private Companies, etc
These potential clients can easily recover the initial investment (infrastructure is seen as Capex,
Car renting & Services as Opex) by reselling throughout “turn key services” car rental services &
customized services to own clients.
This model supports also strong-ecological drive markeing campaigns & CSR.
2) Construction of own infrastructures for (semi-)public use inside some selected
municipalities (own recharging networks, connected to BOMTS system).
This model foresees the sourcing of electrical power at low prices and reselling at higher prices
(as happens for gasoline petrol stations).
These recharging stations can be used by private users or eventually also by already existing car
sharing companies or by hotels located in same area that might need electric cars for own clients..
3) Partial Substitution of alreading existing fleets driven by thermal engine for Companies /
Public-Semipublic Organizations, eventually maintaining both electrical and thermal cars but having
the 24/24h monitoring (cost controlling) of BOMTS platform.
