Making it Last
The effects of ultra violet light, pollution, dirt, grime and salt,
can all accumulate on your powder coated surface over time.
To clean your powder coated surface:
1. Carefully remove any loose deposits To extend the effective life of powder coatings and protect any
warranty requirements that may exist, a very simple regular
with a wet sponge.
2. Use a soft, non abrasive brush or cloth, maintenance program should be implemented.
and a mild household detergent solution to remove dust, salt and other deposits.
Cleaning should take place every six months, however, in coastal
or industrial regions, cleaning should occur every three months.
3. Rinse off with clean fresh water.
Specifying exactly the right colour
Some colours, whether powder, paints or furnishings may share the same
colour name but be entirely different. This is especially true of other powder suppliers
who use Dulux® colour names for their products, however the colours rarely match.
When choosing colours, remember to specify both the Dulux® colour code and name.
The Duralloy® range incorporates a range of colours designed to harmonise with pre-coated
steel products such as Colorbond®. Powder Coatings will never identically match these
pre-coated steel products when new, or over time, due to the different coating technologies.
Every effort has been made to present these colours as accurately as possible and as
close as modern processes allow. Colour appearance may vary according to light source.
Where colour accuracy is vital, a powder coated panel should be requested to confirm
your selection. Dulux Customer Service on 13 2499
