Have overall responsibility of the operation of the Panhellenic Council. Review, approve, and sign all Jacksonville State University Panhellenic Association contracts. Act as the Panhellenic Councils liaison to the University, Student Affairs, the Interfraternity Council, the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the community. Keep constant communication with all members of the Executive Board to ensure they are staying on task and completing the duties of their office. Report as required to the National Panhellenic Conference Area Advisor. . Meet regularly with the Fraternity/Sorority Advisor Vice President of Executive Affairs: Perform the duties of the president in her absence, inability to serve, or at her call. Serve as chair of the Panhellenic Judicial Board, receive all infractions, and coordinate mediations and judicial board proceedings. Revise and edit the Panhellenic Constitution and Bylaws annually. Assist the Fraternity and Sorority advisor with the planning of any risk management programs. Assure that the all-sorority GPA remains well above the All-women’s GPA at Jacksonville State University. Establish academic goals for the Panhellenic Council. Create programming to help education members on the topics of study skills, time management, and other pertinent topics. Meet regularly with the Fraternity/Sorority Advisor. Vice President of Recruitment: Plan, Implement, and evaluate all Recruitment activities for the chapters within the Panhellenic Council. Conduct revisions of the recruitment rules in conjunction with the Chapter Recruitment Chairs, and upon approval of the Recruitment Rules by the Panhellenic Council, publish and distribute the rules to each chapter. Communicate and meet regularly with the Recruitment Chairs and Recruitment Advisors from each chapter to discuss plans for Formal Recruitment. Plan, Implement, and Evaluate all presentations made to Potential New Members, their parents, and any other interested parties. Work collaboratively with the Assistant Vice President of Recruitment to train the Recruitment Counselors. Meet regularly with the Fraternity/Sorority Advisor. Assistant Vice President of Recruitment: Serve as the Head Recruitment Counselor. Dually serve as a recruitment counselor and a member of the Panhellenic Executive Board. Responsible for the primary education and training of the Recruitment Counselors. Assist in the planning and organization of the Summer Recruitment Counselor retreat. Assist the Vice President of Recruitment with any recruitment-involved activities. Meet regularly with the Fraternity/Sorority Advisor. Vice President of Administrative Affairs: Call and maintain attendance at the Panhellenic Association Meetings Keep full minutes of all meetings of the Panhellenic Council. Produce and distribute an agenda before and minutes after each Panhellenic meeting. Compile and distribute all chapter officers contact information at the beginning of each semester. Invoice dues to each chapter on a semester basis. Collect dues from all Panhellenic organizations. Handle all financial aspects including but not limited to making a Year long Panhellenic budget. Meet regularly with the Fraternity/Sorority advisor. Vice President of Programming: Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all programs of the Panhellenic Association throughout the year. Plan the annual Greek Week activities along with a member of IFC NPHC, and the Fraternity/Sorority Advisor. Plan activities to help support the National Panhellenic Conference Philanthropy, Circle of Sisterhood. Meet regularly with the Fraternity/Sorority advisor. Vice President of Public Relations Serve as a resource the Panhellenic organizations to promote their individual events. Be responsible for the Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook page of the Panhellenic council. Create any promotional materials needed to promote the Panhellenic Council. Recognize the importance of creating and maintaining positive public relations efforts to enhance the image of the Fraternity and Sorority community at JSU. Develop and implement, in conjunction with the VP of programming, events geared towards Panhellenic chapter relationships. Meet regularly with the Fraternity/Sorority advisor.
