SWOSU
Librarian
My study group has to
prepare a presentation on
how to effectively control
the infection rate of the
H1N1 virus in small
closed populations. Is
there anywhere we can
work together?
The first floor of the library
provides many group study tables
and you can find large group
study rooms on the second floor
on a first come, first serve basis.

What’s the difference
between the catalog and
the databases…and why
should I care?
Catalog
Database
I need to find some quiet
time, where can I go?
• The 2nd floor is the
Silent Study Area
(except for the group
study rooms)
• As a courtesy to others,
keep talking, noise, and
cell phone use to a
minimum.
If it’s getting late can I
use my cell phone to
order pizza in the
library?
• Snack foods, such as chips, cookies, crackers, french fries,
bagels, donuts, etc. are OK.
• Turn your cell phone to vibrate or to its softest ring.
• No food deliveries, including pizza.
• No food or drink around the PCs, laptops, and photocopiers.
• Do not use your cell phone in the bathrooms, stairwells, or
Silent Study Areas.
Why should I use
the library? Isn’t
everything already
on Google?
Thanks for all the information,
but I need to get started on my
school assignments.
