SLO # 2 3 Page 2 Data collected, how much, by whom** The SLO 2 was assessed by a final version of a research paper assessed on a continuous basis during the semester of 12 to 15 pages in French to be returned by the students on the last session of the semester in FREN 250 (Seminar in French Novel) taught by Dr. Dominique van Hooff. 85% of students met the objective. The SLO 2 was assessed by requiring the development of a master’s thesis, the writing of three to four chapters and a revision of an initial topic and outline in FREN 299 (Master’s Thesis) taught by Dr. Danielle Trudeau. 100% of students met the objective. The SLO 3 was assessed by an in-class 15-20 minute scholarly presentation highlighting the social, historical and cultural aspects of a literary work from various francophone regions of the world, such as the Caribbean, Vietnam, Canada (Quebec and Acadia) and Algeria in FREN 202 (Seminar in French Civilization and Culture) taught by Dr. JeanLuc Desalvo. 100% of students met the objective. revised 3/19/07 3.
