Earning Your Minor in
Communication Studies

progress report on MySJSU.
If a course is taken at another institution, indicate the school and its course information in the space
provided. If a course is in progress, list as “IP” in the Grade Column. Only 2 GE (Core GE and SJSU Studies)
courses may be counted toward both GE and minor requirements. You may count no more than 1 unit of
COMM 80 or COMM 91J toward the minor and no more than 3 units of CR/NC coursework. You may not
count COMM 101C for the minor.
