In accordance with the Comprehensive Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CCAPTA), P.L.
1997, c.175, enclosed is information regarding a child(ren) who resides within your jurisdiction who
was found to have been abused or neglected. The incident was substantiated by a child protective
service investigation conducted by this office.
This information is being released pursuant to N.J.S.A. 9:6-8.10a1.e., must be kept confidential,
and may not be further released by the police or another law enforcement agency, except as
permitted under this statute.
