Reason for Absence (examples of excused absences include illness/emergency issues or traveling to interviews that
cannot be rescheduled). Some course directors may require that absences necessitate the student dropping the
course. This is at the course directors’ discretion. Should an absence request be considered unexcused, the student
may be required to drop the course and/or perform substantial remediation.
You must submit requests for absence to attend interviews that cannot be other wise rescheduled as soon as
you are aware of the conflict or four weeks in advance to the course director and Anna Delaney. Illness and/or
emergency situations requiring absence must be communicated to the course directors and Anna Delaney as
soon as the issue arises.
