Orange Community Master Chorale Presents “A Night of Opera”
April 19—Enjoy a concert of favorite opera choruses performed by Santiago Canyon College’s
Orange Community Master Chorale. This special evening performance of well-known music
will be held on Saturday, May 6, 7:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Orange.
The 80-voice chorale will perform works by Verdi, Wagner, Mozart, Puccini,
Leoncavallo, Borodin and Bizet. Featured soloists include Jane O’Hara, Donnovan Roe, Rob
Kaiser, Ross Hjellum and John Olmsted. Come sing along with the chorale and a full symphony
orchestra.
“Whether you’re an opera fan or a Bugs Bunny buff, you’ll recognize these songs and
have an evening of fun and enjoyment,” said Orange Community Master Chorale Director Mike
Short.
Tickets for the performance are on sale now and also will be available at the door on the
evening of the concert. The price is $12 per person. The concert will be held on Saturday, May
6, at 7:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church located at 191 North Orange Street in Orange.
