Anthony Magno, Business Skills Program Instructor,
Technology Day presenter, and flex activities facilitator has
accepted a position with Western Growers Assn.
a. Terry Wilksen proposed that the maintenance of the
collegial governance manual be located in a neutral office.
John Smith supported the proposal.
a. The budget planning process needs to be reviewed (a
connection beginning from the departments through to
CPAC).
Noted that it is the responsibility of the administrators and
department chair to make certain requests match the DDPs
in the Educational Master Plan.
b. SCC should receive the 2006-2007 allocation at the end of
this week or beginning of next.
c. Request for a report of what needs are met with the
allocation of funds to the vice presidents.
a. The next budget will be built with a closer watch on the
1310 and 1320 adjunct faculty accounts. Past practice has
allowed spending beyond the budget, but this will no
longer be allowed.
b. The College Presidents have requested a summit with
the Chancellor to make certain they understand the new

Steve asked Shawnté for a response from the ASB on raising
the parking fees for fall 2006. In the past, fees were meant to
cover security and parking lot maintenance; it is no longer
enough.
