Beach Ball Toss
Beach Balls •Using a permanent marker, write questions in
colored sections of the beach ball

–Beginning, Middle, and End
–Favorite Part
Students stand or sit in a circle. Students toss the ball to one
another. Person who catches the ball answers question about
selected reading passage to which their right index finger is
pointing.
Small groups can toss beach ball and answer questions until
everyone has a turn
Groups can also toss the ball faster and faster and see how fast
they can answer the questions
