SMART Goal__ The percentage of 2nd grade students scoring proficient and exceeding proficient in ELA will increase from the 2014-15 pre-assessment score of 63.4 % to 93% by the end of the 3rd quarter grading period of the 2014-15 school year as measured by the FCS ELA Grade 2 Interim post-assessment administered in February 2015. Goal #3 The percentage of 3rd grade students scoring proficient and exceeding proficient in Math will increase from the 2014-15 pre-assessment score of 14.2 % to 85 % by the end of the 3rd quarter grading period of the 2014-15 school year as measured by the FCS Math Grade 3 Interim post-assessment Actions, Strategies and Interventions Impact on Student and Adult Behavior (Includes Professional Learning Plan) (“If…then...” Statements) Provide job-embedded professional learning on a monthly basis through Munch-n-Learn sessions during teachers’ planning periods targeted at differentiation strategies through small group instruction and BYOT If educators have a deeper understanding of differentiation strategies and can apply these strategies in their classrooms based on student need, then student achievement will increase. Monthly, beginning September 10, 2014 through May 6, 2015. Teachers will provide differentiated, small group instruction in reading and math throughout the school day. Reading and Math small group instruction will focus on guided groups based on students’ assessment levels. If teachers differentiate instruction through process, product, content, and learning environment, then student achievement will increase. Ongoing Timeline Resources Needed? Who is Responsible?
