Patricia Maus RN, MSN received a BA degree in Nursing and Psychology from Luther College, Decorah IA, followed by a MA degree in Nursing with a focus on Adult Education from the University of Minnesota. Her clinical experience includes staff RN, charge nurse, policy committee member on a General Surgical unit and then the Emergency Department at Mayo Clinic. Pat has been an Assistant Professor at Luther College as the coordinator and team lead of the Junior Level Medical Surgical Nursing Course and a Pathophysiology Course. Pat currently works as a Patient Education Specialist in the Mayo Clinic’s Section of Patient Education supporting the clinical area of Psychiatry and Psychology. Pat is a Silver Mayo Quality Fellow and serves on many committees including Best Mayo Practice in Patient Education.
