Learn about the cultural, economic and political issues that we share with our neighbors to the south. You will hear more about this program in the next couple of weeks from your Spanish teachers and by visiting the GOAL website. If you are currently studying Spanish--this experience is being designed for YOU! What are some of the break-out sessions that are currently being designed? A look at the cultural impact of contemporary films being produced in Latin America A presentation on volunteering and aid programs that support our Latin American neighbors--how can you get involved? Cultural experiences ---how about salsa dancing lessons? Discussion on career opportunities for students who can speak and write Spanish as a second language. Hands-on activities regarding business trade, energy, immigration, and deforestation Chain Reaction Contraption Design Form Due Oct 5th@ 12pm to Ms. Serdy The conceptual design proposal contains an illustrative drawing of your ideas for your contraption. The drawing will not have to match the actual contraption that you create. You must include the form!! The proposal should contain information on how the contraption will accomplish the task, but does not need detail on each individual step. Each drawing must be no larger than 8.5 inches by 11 inches.
