Bag o’ Me!
Throughout this class, you will be asked to push yourself out of your comfort zone! In order
to grow as a communicator, you need to feel comfortable with the audience and comfortable
with yourself. Therefore, you must be self-aware. Upon completion of this assignment, you
will explore your own beliefs, values, and things that matter to you. Be sure to make
everything big enough so we’ll be able to see them clearly when you present them to the
class!
Directions: Your bag should somehow reflect who you are. You are required to have at
least 3 items inside your Bag O’ Me; however, in order to go “Beyond Expectations,” you
will need to bring in items to represent other categories in the following requirements. Please
note that simply listing off 3 of your Dreams, 3 Favorite Things, and 3 Fears you have will
only receive a “Meets Standards.” You must ELLABORATE so that you audience can truly
get to know you better in order to receive an A on this speech.
