Throughout this project you are required to put together a packet of psychology information about your life.
This packet will involve you applying psychology that we have learned about in class to your life. You will
respond to theories, personality tests, and give personal insight into the topics discussed in class. This packet
should include the following material in this order:
 Letter to self, twenty years in the future: “Dear _______, this is my Junior/Senior year at Wheaton
Warrenville South High School and this is what is going on in my life” … relationships, family, school,
friends, activities, etc.
 Timeline of at least 10 events that impacted who you are. Write a paragraph describing the impact of two of
the events.
 Bathroom design and personal analysis of design.
You need to use the terms anal retentive or anal rebellious. Those that are retentive will have things in
the bathroom that will provide privacy, cleanliness, and/or distractions. Those that are rebellious will be
the opposite, not concerned with privacy, cleanliness, and will have things that do not typically belong
in a bathroom.
 Describe three situations from your life where you have used three different defense mechanisms.
 Attach (Keirsey) personality test results and write a response explaining whether you believe the test was
accurate or inaccurate. Website is on our class homepage; make sure to describe your four letter typology.
 Picture of your family and your response on the effect of birth order in your life and family.
 Reflect on your self-esteem and come up with three goals for the future.
This packet should be bound in a creative portfolio that reflects something about your personality.
