23rd Annual ACED Gulf South The Department of Adult and Career Education is excited to announce this year’s 23rd Annual ACED Gulf South Innovations in Learning and Teaching Conference. The conference will be held at the Dewar College of Education and Human Services hosted by the Department of Adult and Career Education. This year’s objectives are to: Provide New Teachers Institute & ACED Part-time instructors with an opportunity for networking and professional development. Give ACED doctoral students an opportunity to network, present research, and view other scholarly works. Some of this year’s sessions include: “Factors that Influence the Latina’s Transition from High School to College” “Intro to ACED: Part-Time Instructor Handbook” “Developing an Online Survey Research Instrument” The Faculty and Staff of the ACED Department hope that your weekend in the Azalea City is enlightening and fun, with lots of opportunities to network with and learn from colleagues.
