1959-1967
Manager, Independent Research and Development – Space Program
Pioneered development of Flight Dynamics design of NASA Mission Control Center
resulting in first manned lunar landing. Led the design and implementation efforts for
flight dynamics displays for space flight travel.
AUTOMATED SYSTEMS CORPORATION, HOUSTON, TX

Designed electric utility’s first Industrial Control Centers. Designed and implemented
Municipal Criminal Justice Software systems.
HYCEL CORPORATION, HOUSTON, TX
1971 – 1977
VP, Clinical Chemistry and Instrumentation
Led design and development of three new clinical chemistry instruments for
automated handling of blood samples.

Managed production and quality engineering for over 50 commercial lab products.

Led and implemented design of individual patient cardiac monitors and integrated
into NASA-designed testing beds.

Directed design and development of 16 new blood chemistry tests for automated
and comprehensive blood profiling.

Directed clinical/instrumentation R&D and a technical staff of 35 in the development
of instrumentation for immunology and microbiology. Provided innovative contract
design services to global medical testing corporations.

Designed and patented over 12 clinical instruments in microbiology and clinical
chemistry to complement new blood and urine test protocols;

Planned and managed contract design services business for 15 years in diverse
instrumentation technologies.


Transformed paradigm of prescription pill packaging and delivery by
spearheading design, development and commercialization of two major delivery
systems.
Built business into successful entity and eventually sold it to full service

pharmacy care.

safer and more cost effective pharmacy services to long term care.

