About Us
We define 'community' as a broad scope of non profit, education, social service, and government
agencies that contribute to the public good, work towards equity and inclusion, and
environmental sustainability. Our office supports faculty, students, and community agencies in a
variety of ways: Curriculum Development, Community Contacts, Student Placements,
Professional Development, Project Planning, and Service Learning Internships. Read more.
What We Do
advise and consult on best practices; develop and share resources; help direct interested campus
and community members; administer service learning courses; support scholarship, research, and
grants related to community engagement; develop and maintain community partnerships;
coordinate and promote student leadership for community engagement; coordinate the Freshmen
