Opportunistic Infections related with AIDS.
Opportunistic infections are different kind of sickness
that people infected by AIDS commonly suffer. These opportunistic
infections are caused by germs or bacteria that normally are around us, but
in most of the cases, the inmunitary system of the human body can face
them and the person feels healthy, on the other hand, opportunistic
infections can appear as a simple cold and degenerate in pneumonia or
worse, so the person infected will be for long time in the hospital under
medical and specialized treatment, however, if a healthy person feels an
unknown symptom, it does not mean that is an opportunistic infection
related with AIDS, because there are different illnesses which develop
similar symptoms. Finally, if an opportunistic infection appear in a person
infected with AIDS there is hope, actually the technology has allowed to
scientists develop treatments that can help the body to face these infections
and improve the patients quality of life.
