Use the effective management techniques that are being used in your child’s
classroom in your home environment.
Help you other children to develop an understanding of behavior disorders.
Establish rules, routines,, and consequences that fit your child’s developmental
age and interests.
Take advantage of parent training and support groups that are available in your
community.
Obtain counseling when appropriate for yourself, your other children,, and your
spouse from a community mental health agency or other public or private source.
Help your other children and their friends understand the things they can do to
assist you in rearing your child with behavior disorders.
