What’s my leaders name again? What are we doing on this trip? Does my Cell Phone work abroad? Make sure! it’s required! Put the number on BearsAbroad (under Questionnaires) Did I sign the Trip Agreement form on BearsAbroad? Gather Donations: friends may not have money to give, but they may have supplies! Ask your team leader if there are any donated goods you can bring to share with your global partner. Start a Journal or a Blog: What are you feeling about the trip? Excited? Scared? What are your expectations? What do you hope to learn? What do you know already? Send the link to your friends & donors so they can pray for you May Start Packing! (your stories could end up on Baylor Proud or in Baylor Magazine! woohoo) Perfect your stump speech: when people ask about your trip, be ready to tell them a good story. Have a good 90 sec. spill for acquaintances, and some deeper stories for friends, family, & donors who want to hear more about who you met, what you learned & how you want to use the experience to make a difference in the future.
