Procurement specifications for the Dell Servers, RSA SecurID tokens, and Dell
Workstations needed for different phases of the CertAnon project. Refer to the Resource
Plan document for phase requirements. The RSA Authentication Manager must run on
the Dell PowerEdge SC440 (or equivalent). The Web and Database Servers may use the
PowerEdge SC440 server, the Precision 390 workstation, or other, depending on
performance and storage requirements.
Dell Server
The following server specifications are based on the hardware requirements
outlined in the RSA Authentication Manager 6.1 Scalability and Performance Guide
(http://www.rsa.com/node.aspx ) for the RSA Authentication Manager 6.1 software:

Hardware Specifications
CertAnon
CertAnon will initially purchase the RSA SecurID SID700 model. The RSA
SecurID 700 hardware device is a keyfob model that connects easily to any key ring and
is very convenient for the end user. Every 60 seconds it displays a new code generated by
the RSA SecurID AES algorithm. RSA Tokens are tokens are available from RSA
SecurID direct and from third party vendors. Depending on quantity, and other factors,
prices may vary from $30 to $90 a piece.
Dell Workstation
The workstation specifications are not performance or storage critical. They need
to support the Microsoft Office documentation and database development needs for
CertAnon. The following is a suggested minimal requirement:
