Subjects Matter Work (15 min)
Step One: Five Minutes
Take about five minutes and come up with a quote from Daniels
and Zemmelman’s work from Subjects Matter that interested,
angered, or, in some way, moved you. Simply divide your page
in half and put your quote on the right.
Step Two: Five Minutes
Pass you quote to the person sitting next to you, and have them
comment on the quote. There is no right or wrong way to do
this. If you are stuck on how to go about this, then look at my
sample on the overhead.
Step Three: Five Minutes
Meet with your “quotation partner” and talk about your reactions
to your quotes.
