Executive Programs and postgraduate Diplomas
Almost all Public Sector Universities in the province have elaborate infrastructure
with highly qualified faculty. They have also witnessed a substantial improvement
over the last few years as a result of generous funding and assistance in shape
of provision of land etc by the government. It is however, felt that these facilities
need to be utilized to their maximum potential for the facilitation of professional
and part time students from various backgrounds.

It is also felt that there is an over all increase in demand for education in
certain disciplines especially by the section of the community, which is already
employed, but desirous of improving its educational qualification.

In order to fully exploit the potential of the universities and also to cater to
the educational needs of the society a policy document has been prepared by the
consultative group setup by the honorable Governor. (The same is attached)

Keeping in view the strength of the university and the demands of the
community, I have been desired to request you to kindly submit proposals
regarding executive programmes and postgraduate diplomas in various
disciplines, which can be introduced by your university. It shall be highly
appreciated if the response reaches this secretariat by 9th April 2007.

A presentation may be desired by the Governor shortly there after.
