IMPORTANT: Survey on Diversity and Discrimination at McGill
Please verify your McGill emails for the invitation to complete the Understanding Diversity and
Discrimination at McGill survey. Your participation will help McGill better understand the
diversity of our student population, identify discrimination, and ultimately ensure that the
University is a respectful and welcoming environment for all.
The first diversity survey launched at McGill in 2009 demonstrated the breadth of diversity at
McGill, where, for example, 61% of respondents reported using more than one language to
communicate with friends and family. The survey report details the 2009 findings.
Now is your opportunity to contribute to the 2013 survey. Rest assured that your responses will
be held in the strictest confidence and will only be used for statistical purposes. If you have any
question about the survey or if you experience technical difficulties, please contact the Planning
and Institutional Analysis Office at surveys.pia@mcgill.ca or at 514-398-6585.
